CELEBRATION CAPS SUCCESSFUL YEAR
For the Department of Residence Services, April is a month filled with celebrations. As the academic year ends, two events help cap off a successful year of programs and activities in the residence halls. On the evening of April 24th, hundreds of students and staff gathered for our End-of-the-Year Celebration in the Kent Student Center Ballrooms.
CONTINUED SUCCESS OF LIVING-LEARNING COMMUNITIES
Living-Learning Communities provide students an opportunity to live together in the same on-campus building with other students who share similar academic or special interests. On the Kent campus, nearly one thousand students are part of the eleven different Living-Learning Communities offered. Active participation in a Living-Learning Community allows for enhanced and enriched in-class instruction, with focused out-of-class learning experiences.

INTERNATIONAL RESIDENT ASSISTANT EXCHANGE
freevide0x性欧美This past fall semester, Kent State Resident Assistants (RA) traveled to Deakin University in Australia for the inaugural International Resident Assistant Exchange program. This joint venture between the Department of Residence Services and the Office of International Student Affairs developed out of the desire to internationalize further not only Residence Services, but also the experiences of our Resident Assistants.
WINE TO WATER – HOW WINNIE BUSH SPENT SPRING BREAK
For Spring break, I spent my week with other Kent State students at Wine to Water, Dominican Republic. It was a life changing experience.
The uniqueness of the culture and people and their open and inviting nature were to my group and myself an immeasurable life experience. One of my favorite parts of the trip was meeting an 88 years old woman who, when she sighted my group, stood up to hug and kiss each one of us. She shared her story and the impact that Wine to Water has had on her life.
